Relationship Baggage * Oh.. You Don't Have Any?!
"Don't have it, don't want it, don't want want anyone with it!" We are each the sum of whence we've come. What are they thinking? So runs the river of d'nile! There are varying degrees from carry-ons to trunks full! Some are conscious of their baggage; others unconsciously dragging it around. Imagine one who has had many trunks full. You could say of such, "what a wreck!" One can't get through life with that. Nope. Unless ...they consciously take stock, unload, unpack as they go along through life. Wise, say what? One with so much to get through in fact has likely learned much about truth, themselves, responsibility, compassion, love & life. Likely a lot to offer, wouldn't you say? Consider now. Another with an 'just' an overnight bag. Not much in it to carry around, so light it's hardly noticed! So it's carried around ..........maybe forever ...and likely it's got toxic rot & maggots, green stuff so layered that the original contents are unrecognizable after all this time. But this person jauntily carries his case in denial. Who's he hiding it from? You? Me? He's the only one unaware - picks it up everyday. These in fact are the ones glibly and self righteously saying, don't have it, don't need it, don't want it?? A but paradoxical? Being a discerning un-packer of many cases, I know which one I'd trust, baggage & all. The difference is in the degrees of awareness, denial & responsible action.
