When your realtor drives up a prospective buyer who won't get out her car, all the interior cleaning, de-cluttering and property presentation won't matter! The efforts to improve your home interior are diminished by lack of appeal from streetside. Regardless of the actions or conversation that follow, an image is instantly formed. You'll be putting yourself and your realtor in the position of back pedaling. Enhancing the approach, staging to sell, is the most effective way to create welcoming invitation to prospective buyers. * Get an objective view to critique the approach to your home. * Exteriors should be cleaned of dirt and insects. Hose down siding. * Clean all windows. * Walk areas and stairs need to be clearly indicated. * Accent with plants. * Use general and landscape lighting for night approach. Lighting enhancement is often overlooked. The effects of lighting is the most effective element in interior design, landscaping and exterior architecture. It is more effective than any other single element. In fact you can overspend and still not achieve the look you want without the right lighting.
